Windy weather is blowing in some colder air. Tonight or sometime this weekend we will be expecting our first frost at the farm. Since it is November, we are willing to let go of our summer crops. An early frost often has farmers in a panic, trying to cover and save as much as we can.
Todays windy weather and crispness to the air reminds me of how much I love putting on a few extra layers, drinking hot tea and watching the leaves dance around us as we work on putting the fields to bed.
