Windy weather is blowing in some colder air. Tonight or sometime this weekend we will be expecting our first frost at the farm. Since it is November, we are willing to let go of our summer crops. An early frost often has farmers in a panic, trying to cover and save as much as we can. With a later frost like this we are ready for it to come. We still cover our Semi-hardy fall crops to limit any light damage, but if any it is usually minimal. Any gardeners out there-- be sure to pick your 'lasts' tonight!
