This one-of-a-kind shawl was hand-woven on a rigid heddle loom with wool from sheep that graze our pastures. Our shepherds carefully select for a flock of ewes with excellent mothering skills, hardy dispositions, and soft fleeces. A renewable local resource, this wool brings warmth and good spirit to your wardrobe. Our shawls are 100% made in Connecticut, from pasture to milling to weaving
About the Weaver: Grace Cannan is a young farmer from Easton, Connecticut. She uses traditional techniques to create living garments and share with you her love for sheep and shepherds. Thank you for supporting the local farm-to-fiber movement.
