When I sat down in July planning a Winter CSA with Dina, I didn't think I would be growing vegetables in fifty-degree weather in January. While we have had some unquestionably cold days during this share we seem to be in the middle of a small reprieve, a window of time where we, and our produce, get to warm up. My only hope is it will get cold again, not for my sake but for the tree and flower buds alike that need to stay unopened for just a few months longer.
