I hope everyone had a lovely week. The bracing fall weather has finally come. This may not be the most spectacular year for foliage, but I have never seen the grass this bright in October. Be sure to take and extra five minutes to walk out for a sit down in our pumpkin patch this afternoon. There is just something about a pumpkin patch...
In this week's share:
- shishito peppers - if you don't know them, you are in for a treat!
- cherry tomatoes - holding on against the frost. We are nearing the sweet end of tomato season
- pac choi - sauté with garlic or add to brothy soup on a cold night
- bloody mary mix
All the best,
PS If anyone has changed their mind and would like to add on a Dairy or Pizza share, please let me know, they are still available. A special thank you to PIY for their impromptu welcome party during last week's pickup - it was very generous of them and a great new tradition for our start of CSA!
