This is the final week of our summer CSA - and while we celebrate another great season, it is sad to think of the farm getting quieter again on CSA pickup days. We miss you when you are gone. Many of you are staying on for the Autumn Share (which will start Oct 6th) and we are excited about our fall harvest. The onions are pictured above curing in our greenhouse - readying for storage. October will bring hayrides and pumpkin patch celebrations, November will be our big Thanksgiving harvests, and then December 3rd (mark your calendars) is our Holiday Sheep Stroll.

Thank you for joining our harvest this year. Thank you for cooking, for celebrating local organic food and for keeping food independence alive in our town. Your CSA membership makes a big difference to our farm, our farmers, and our planet. A special thank you, in addition, to all of you who have generously donated your time to the farm this season: CSA members have volunteered weekday shifts of harvesting beans, seeding, weeding, and taking care of livestock. You have picked an extra pint of the PYO crops for other CSA members who are coming in late from work and don't have time. Mercedes Koehler has donated time to sit in the CSA room and greet and restock for us; she has been donating her time as a "work share" to sponsor a family in need here in town. I am convinced that the gestures of small communities like ours are the seeds of change that will restore greater balance to all our lives and our planet. Thank you. We hope to see you throughout the upcoming months.
All the best,
